The Journey:

It is weird to have a body twice as old as one’s mind, yet at the age of 25 I had already lived three lives and the experiences in my heart were overwhelming. As I continue along the journey, I find that my head, my heart, and my body are coming into better alignment. As my spirit better connects with Reality, I seem to see who, what, where, and why.

If I knew then, what I know now, I may have not tried to stay single for so long. Being married to an incredible woman and having kids is the most amazing thing I’ve ever experienced. I didn’t know then, but now I do. I love being a husband and a daddy – this is the best occupation I’ve ever experienced.

Born the son of a talented entrepreneur, the great-grandson of an Oregon Trail pioneer, the sixth-great-grandson of an American pioneer and revolutionary, and a descendant of Roger Williams, founder of Rhode Island; it’s not difficult to understand my penchant for exploration and wandering. If I can’t take a walkabout, drive unknown roads, or let my mind drift atop a peaceful mountain, I will find other ways to explore. Be it books, the web, or a handy magazine – my mind is always seeking out new information; new food for thought.

Taking a somewhat undisciplined approach, it has often seemed as if I were lost. “Wandering,” I said; but the truth is, sometimes I was lost. I’ve been on track for sometime and though I stumble, the journey is much better – even if I am on the less traveled road.  The musings and meanderings of this blog are my own.  I don’t claim to be an expert, though I am an innovator, leader, visionary, and dad.
